I'm slowly and surely missing being out in the Sugar search. Maybe if I had 2 SD's I wouldn't miss it so much..hmmm let me stop lol. I've realized how hard it is and will be when you have to make the transition from Sugar dating to regular dating. Sugar daddies can sometime set the bar SO high that it's impossible to find someone to meet up to your standards. Of course I want a man who's successful, handsome (in the sense that I'm attracted to him), caring, honest, generous, and able to provide stability plus more. In a nutshell I want a man with all the sugar daddy characteristics without being a sugar daddy...does that make sense?? And I'm not using the term "without being a sugar daddy" loosely. I've heard stories about sugar babies who have ben engaged to their guy, or been married, or in situations where he left the wife to be with them...it might all seem like a fairy tale..but sometime you might just be fooling yourself...but we also have the exception to the rules.
When you're dating a guy, how do you determine his wealth? I know many women goes by what kind of watch he wear, living arrangements, clothing etc..but every guy is different. For me it has to be a combination of everything. He doesn't have to own 2 houses, as long as he has a nice enough place..He doesn't need to have 3 Rolex, he might not be a big watch guy..but he has to wear quality clothes- not talking high end but quality. The places a guy takes you on dates also tell a bit about him..I'm not expecting a 5 star experience every time but if you're taking me to your local pizza or Italian place all the time..EH. And he has to show some kind of generosity towards me. This is a really hard one because now a day not many men practice this. Sure they might be trying to make sure that she's in for the right reason but if after a few months she's still around and head over heels for you, dude, she not going nowhere so show your freaking appreciation.
This is what kind of happened between myself and the Cardiologist. He's a really nice guy, 47, not bad looking, a little boring haha but I work with it, alone, never been married, no kids, parents are praying for him everyday that he meet someone lol. I've never been sure about him and he has somehow fell in the friend zone. We've had some great dinners and conversations. Went shopping once cause I wanted to give him a slight makeover, he offered to buy me something, it was weird. He has always admired everything about me, from omg nice shoes and bags to jewelry and asking me if they were gift to me blah blah blah. If you're so concern about who's giving me what..maybe you should make a move and give me something...I never told him that but probably should have lol. He doesn't initiate anything and I was always on the fence about sleeping with him in case he's only trying to bed a 20 something. Long story short..we've been seeing each other for close to 1yr now and it's just been that. He's in the friend zone and I'm not sure if he'll get out of it. I want a man to serenade me, especially if they're older..they're suppose to be great at that stuff. I take precaution with older men because you can never be sure if they're just trying to bed you. Compared to if I'm dating someone a bit around my age where it's who cares, you come a dime a dozen.
